Am putting up something in my over-blog website. I prefaced it with "Note on 'Notes': Would like to share these simple notes I wrote down while engaged in research on Zamboanga for my Zamboanga historical novels, 'Samboangan: the Cult of War," and 'The Siege of Fort Pillar,' latter with grant from NBDB (gracias). Took these notes decades ago when the idea came to my mind to write about my hometown Zamboanga. By the way, the research took longer than the writing of the first novel, 'Samboangan: the Cult of War.'" --- Likely would be of help those interested in my hometown and might even want to write about it, fiction or otherwise, without having to go through those impossible years of research and interviews. This stuff really I think could help. Will post it soon.
